As a youngster I honed my directing skills creating remakes of Hollywood films on a JVC camcorder, my Auntie felt my homemade Basic Instinct was particularly distressing. I put these skills to good (debatable) use filming my backyard wrestling federation whilst destroying my parents garden (if you were wondering my wrestling name, it’s Shadow Man). ‘Success’ followed when a short I made at college was chosen to be aired on BBC 2. Unfortunately, the screening was at 3.30am although it did receive rave reviews from 3 of the 4 family members who stayed up to watch.

Since then I have established myself as a Writer and Director of sketch, comedy and reality for TV. I’ve recently directed the sitcom Hard Cell; currently streaming on Netflix and I have been lucky enough to direct some of the biggest names in the biz including Catherine Tate, Romesh Ranganathan, Harry Hill, Lolly Adefope, Jimmy Carr, Stephen Fry, David Walliams, Matt Lucas, Rosie Jones, Lee Mack, Chris Ramsey, Judi Love, Asim Chaudhry and the Cheeky Girls.​

I love my wife and son, eat too much cake and as you can see I have an unfavourably sized forehead. I’m currently retired from wrestling but if you have a paddling pool filled with jelly I could be tempted back.
